Ambrose Competition
The tournament format will be an “Ambrose Competition.” In this type of competition handicaps are used in play with a fraction of the total handicaps of the group members serving as one handicap for the group. All players tee off, the best shot is selected, and all players hit again from that same spot. The best second shot is selected and all players hit from that same spot and so on until the ball is holed.

Players will have the opportunity to purchase unique shots during the tournament to improve your score.

Registration is being done online through the conference website. You will be asked to provide your name, church and handicap or average score for 18 holes of golf. If you have a 4 person team you will be asked to indicate that on the form. Otherwise you will be grouped with other individuals to make up a 4 person team. Credit card payment is required. Registration is open to the first 100 golfers. After May 8 the tournament will open to local golfers. If you prefer to register by mail with a check, click here for the registration form.

Several prizes will be awarded.
Prizes include longest drive, closest to the hole and top team.
