Lay Speaking Certification Course

The Dublin District will be sponsoring a Lay Speaking Certification Training course September 17-18, 2010, at Gethsemane UMC in East Dublin. The training is available to both laity and clergy for certification or just for spiritual growth. Both a basic and an advanced course will be offered. Rev. Wayne McDaniel will lead the basic speaking course, which will focus on how to give an effective testimony and conduct a worship service. Randel Bryan will lead the advanced course, which will focus on leading small groups. Cost for the course is $30.00. Click here for more information and a registration form.
