How to join?
Our annual Dues are $35.00 which covers membership from January - December. Renewing members will receive a membership card.  New members will receive a membership card, a state pin, andwill be added to our newsletter and e-news list to keep you updated throughout the year of events in the Georgia Chapter and in the National Chapter. Contact Lynn Creech at agstdumc@bellsouth.net for more information.

A Brief History

The Professional Association of United Methodist Church Secretaries (PAUMCS) was organized April, 14, 1982 in Dallas, Texas.

Legislation was adopted at the 1988 General Conference which states that the General Council on Finance and Administration (GCFA) has the authority and responsibility: "To provide guidance and consultation for continuing education fo church secretaries, including establishment of training and certification programs, and to provide assistance to the Professional Association of United Methodist Church Secretaries." ( Book of Discipline, 2000, Paragraph 807.17).

Mission Statement

The Mission of the Professional Association of United Methodist Church Secretaries is to provide a supportive base for the unity and fellowship of its members in order to provide individual growth, professional development, continuing education, and spiritual enrichment.
