These supplemental videos provide additional information and clarity to the written reports found in the Book of Recommendations. You are strongly encouraged to watch these videos prior to Annual Conference. They will not be shown again during the online Annual Conference session. Once you view the videos, the committees invite you to submit any questions you have so they can address them prior to Annual Conference or can address them during the online conference session.

Embedded in the survey is a 10-minute video about General ConferenceThis video gives an overview of General Conference and discusses one of the plans that will be before the delegates to General Conference, known as a Protocol for Reconciliation and Grace through Separation. Your feedback will help inform the "Time of Listening to the Annual Conference" during our online session.

How to Speak and Webinar & Voting Help

The documents below provide tips for Parliamentary Procedure, how to speak during the Annual Conference Session, using Zoom Webinar, and voting.

 

Parliamentary Procedures: As a reminder, the South Georgia Conference follows the Modern Rules of Order,  3rd Edition, American Bar Association for Parliamentary Procedures (see Standing Rule 3.1.1). For easy reference, here is a document that outlines our parliamentary procedures we will adhere to.

Here is a quick tip sheet for how to be recognized by the presiding officer using the virtual platform.
