2022 Annual Conference: Agenda, Special Offering, Resolutions, Disaffiliation Info.

Voting

This year we will utilize an electronic voting system provided by GNTV during our Annual Conference sessions. This system is the same one we used during our 2020 and 2021 online conference sessions. Please note the following details:

Voting Training Session

  • GNTV is providing one live training opportunity via zoom webinar for those who would like a refresher on the voting system or for whom this will be their first time voting electronically.  The training will be held Tuesday, May 17 at 6 pm. A link to this training will be sent to all conference members on or before May 17.

  • You will need an internet-connected device such as a desktop or laptop computer with speakers, a tablet, or a smartphone. You will access the session using a web browser (i.e. the platform you use to get on the Internet, such as Google Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc.). A webcam is not necessary.

Electronic voting during the online Part 1 Clergy Session

  • Those who are eligible to vote during the May 22 online Part 1 Clergy Session will receive their unique voting credentials via email on May 16. All those permitted to attend the Clergy Session will also receive a link to the online session on May 16.

Electronic voting at the in-person Annual Conference Session in Columbus

  • Members are requested to please bring a personal device (smartphone, tablet, etc.) in order to vote during the conference session. If you do not have your own device or cannot borrow one, you may plan to share devices with a fellow conference member. Each conference member will be provided with a unique Voter ID number. Specific instructions on how to participate in voting will be shared with you prior to our first ballot. Our outstanding team of tellers will be present and available for anyone needing assistance.

  • We are told the convention center's Wi-Fi signal will be strong enough for our technology needs. However, we may ask that during a vote you utilize your cellular data should that become necessary.

  • Member-specific voting credentials will be issued at registration. Only those who are present at the session in Columbus are eligible to vote; there is no hybrid conference option.
