Savannah River of Life Mission Experience offers students opportunity to serve, grow

April 17, 2017
Are you looking for an opportunity to engage your youth in a mission experience this summer? Consider coming to Savannah! Isle of Hope United Methodist Church in Savannah is hosting the River of Life Mission Experience July 19-23 for middle and high school youth groups. Students will have the chance to make an impact on the Savannah community by restoring homes through painting and light carpentry. Evening worship, teaching, and small group discussions will help the students see how service to others is integral to their personal faith formation. Forest Hills UMC (Macon) Youth Director Mike Adkins is the special guest speaker for the event.

Cost for the experience is $120 for students and $60 for adults.

If you are looking for a way to challenge your youth to think beyond themselves and help meet the needs of others, give us a call! We would love to partner with you this summer.

For more information or to register, contact the Isle of Hope UMC Director of Missions, Shannon Baxter, Jr., at sbaxter@iohumc.com or 912.355.8527.
