Strange characters John Wesley met

January 09, 2017
JOHN WESLEY MOMENTS
DAVE HANSON

One of the strange characters John Wesley met was clothed completely in purple. He told John that it was the duty of any person who could do so to be clothed in purple and fine linen and to dine on sumptuous fare every day. And that he would do abundantly more good hereby than he could do by feeding the hungry and clothing the naked.

Wesley comment after this encounter was, “It is amazing what people can believe if they desire to do so!”

Have you found this true in your encounter with people?
