LifeSpring UMC began weekly worship services in 2008, at the Bulloch Academy High School cafeteria in Statesboro. In 2009, services were moved to the Southern Hospitality Conference Center in the Marriott Spring Hill Suites. On December 7, 2014, LifeSpring UMC began weekly Sunday services at the Wesley Foundation, located across from Georgia Southern University campus.
LifeSpring offers a variety of groups including Bible studies, recreational teams, and gender-based groups
. There is also a children's program called KidSpring and a youth group called H2O Youth Group. Members work with local community programs and organizations including Fostering Bulloch, Christian Campus Fellowship, The Wesley Foundation and Open Hearts Community Mission. Once a year, members participate in "Be the Church Day" where worship services are canceled so that members may volunteer with community service projects
. Some programs that benefitted from this service include the Special Olympics and The Living Water Project in Kenya.
