Madison First UMC, in beautiful Madison, GA, seeks a Casual Worship Leader. Madison First UMC is a mid-size church congregation in a growing and thriving small town community. We are located 1 hour East of Atlanta, 30 minutes South of Athens, and 1.5 hours West of Augusta. The Casual Worship Leader is a part-time position tasked with working closely with the Senior Pastor to create casual worship ministry capable of providing inspiring and engaging worship services that encourage the church body to enter into corporate and personal worship to the glory of God. Typical weekly responsibilities include organizing music, leading rehearsals, recruiting band members, leading music at one Sunday service, and being willing to put together a few yearly special musical events.
