To South Georgia Clergy:
The South Georgia Conference Office of Communications, in partnership with United Methodist Communications, has created a digital space just for clergy where resources have been provided to both inform you and help you communicate with your local congregation about the 2019 special session of General Conference. We are using a platform through Moodle.
This space is also designed for you to have conversations with one another. We invite you to share in the discussion boards things you have found helpful or lessons you have learned as you discuss the called General Conference Session and the Way Forward plans with your congregation. The beauty of the connection is that we can learn from each other. Please note this it is not a space to debate, and we ask that you be respectful.
The platform will be updated continuously as new information becomes available. You will be able to log in to the course after creating a username and password (if you do not already have an account with United Methodist Communications). Once you are signed in:
click on the home button in the top left corner of the training portal
scroll down to the “my courses” section
click on the “SGAUMC: General Conference 2019 Resources” course
