**Please note: the interest forms have now closed.**
To indicate your interest in serving as a delegate, please read the information below and then complete the appropriate form. These forms are a means for candidates to share information that allows members of the annual conference to make informed decisions. According to our policy, the elections process is an attempt to bring all of us together, level the playing field, make the process public and fully transparent, and help us stay in covenant together. Any mass communication conducted outside the website, through printed or electronic means, undermines this covenant. Click here to read more about our process.
Please note that by indicating your interest you understand the following: Each delegate is expected to attend the General and/or Jurisdictional conferences to be held in 2024, attend 4 to 6 meetings of the delegation prior to General Conference for intensive preparation, commit the time necessary to read extensively and study the issues, and pray for God’s guidance in decision making. It is also expected that anyone submitting his or herself for election is committed to The United Methodist Church and to serving faithfully through the conclusion of the General and/or Jurisdictional Conferences when they are held in 2024. Delegates should expect that they will bear a portion of the cost of travel, since the per diem rates often do not cover all costs.
All clergy in good standing that are eligible to vote and are willing to apply to serve on the General and Jurisdictional Delegations may submit an online survey so that fellow voting clergy may know more about their colleagues.
