Vienna UMC honors long-time church musician
Long-time church musician Mrs. Jane Mason was honored for her years of service during the morning worship service at Vienna United Methodist Church Sunday, May 18.
Mrs. Mason recently has retired after some 67 years of service to the church’s music program. During many of those years she served either as organist or pianist for the Sunday morning worship service.

Mrs. Mason, a native of Sylvester, has a son, Rev. Thomas F. Mason Jr. who presently serves Mulberry Street United Methodist Church in Macon as senior pastor; two granddaughters, Allison Curington of Tuscaloosa, AL and Joan Akin of Vienna and four great grandchildren, Patten and Mason Curington of Tuscaloosa and Kathryn and Caroline Akin of Vienna.
